Sunday mornings
We would love for you to join us for Sunday worship at 10:30am. Coffee and donuts are served at 10:15am, so feel free to arrive early and socialize!
Sunday services typically last 75-90 minutes, and people tend to linger and hang out afterwards. We have a large number of children in the church, and many of them spend time on the playground or using the pool and foosball tables in our fellowship hall after service.
COVID Policy
Salem is currently mask optional. Please stay home if you are feeling sick.
Where we meet
Salem has two parking lots – one on the upper level along New Halls Ferry, and a lower lot on Pohlman road. You can park in either lot, but the sanctuary is located next to the upper parking lot, with entrances on both sides of the building.
Music
We sing songs in both traditional and contemporary styles, and we prioritize song lyrics that are God- and Christ-centered, pointing to the character and qualities of God. Our praise team instruments include guitars, pianos, drums, and trumpet.
Communion
We participate in the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month during service. Communion is open to all Christians who profess faith in Christ, regardless of their denomination. Both wine and grape juice are served.
Children’s Ministry
Children’s Ministry happens in many ways at Salem church. During Sunday service, children 12 and under can join our Jesus and Me (JAM) classes for Biblical teaching, crafts, snacks and fun. Classes are split into JAM 2 (for 10 – 12 year olds), JAM (for 6 – 9 year olds) and JAM Jr. (for 3 – 6 year olds). We also have a nursery for children 3 and under.
Service Projects
Salem takes part in service projects on the second Saturday of the month. Most often, that means picking up trash as we walk and pray in our community.
