Get Connected

Here are a few of the ministries available at Salem that will allow you to get connected.

the Kulture
is exists to nurture lasting hope in all areas of life for youth and young adults in our community through transformative relationships with peers, mentors and Jesus Christ. The Kulture serves students from 6th to 12th grade. For more details, visit thekulture.org

Children’s Ministry happens in many ways at Salem church. During Sunday service, children 10 and under can join our Jesus and Me (JAM) classes for Biblical teaching, crafts, snacks and fun. Classes are split into JAM (for 6 – 9 year olds) and JAM Jr. (for 3 – 6 year olds). We also have a nursery for children 3 and under.

In addition to weekly JAM classes, we hold events throughout the year for our elementary school students (K-5), including monthly Kulture Kids events and a Vacation Bible School every summer.

Small groups at Salem are casual gatherings allowing Christians to connect and build lasting relationships with others in their neighborhood. We currently have three small groups to choose from:

Sunday Morning 1st and 3rd Sundays at 9am. Fellowship Hall at Salem Church (in the basement). Hosted by Melba

Sunday Afternoons every other Sunday at 12:15pm. Young adults in their twenties. The Parsonage. Hosted by Bryce & Kacey

Thursday Evenings every 2 weeks at 6pm. DeSantis Household. Hosted by Marc & Esther

Salem has a few options for Bible Studies where you can learn about and discuss God’s worth among neighbors.

Men’s Bible Study meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at 7pm. Women have two options for Bible Study – on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday morning at 9:30am or on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evening at 12:00pm.

Music Ministry at Salem consists of a variety of styles with a desire to blend the best characteristics of contemporary and traditional worship music. If you are a musician or sound technician, we have opportunities for you to join our team and express your gifts!
